School hours will be from 8:00AM to 1:00PM - Monday through Thursday
Bus service will be provided to and from school if needed. Route schedules are still being worked on and should be finalized by the end of the regular school year. As the summer goes along, these schedules will most likely change.

What's Being Taught
Each grade will have its own classroom and teacher. As a school, we teach your child through our curriculum which has incorporated into it the Arizona State Standards. These standards are all the concepts your child should learn for the year. Your child's teacher has recommended which Arizona State Standards in the areas of reading and mathematics that your child needs more practice in. This is what will be taught and reviewed during summer school.
The Academic Enrichment Program will offer HANDS ON activities in Science and Social Studies while incorporating READING and MATH.
Hopi Lavayi will be a FULL IMMERSION class. This means that everything will be taught in Hopi from the start of the day to the end of the day. There is a 25 student limit and is on a first come, first serve basis.
The Wellness Program will feature different activities that instill an ACTIVE LIVING lifestyle. There is a 25 student limit and is on a first come, first serve basis.
A progress report will be sent home listing what state standards were covered over summer school and whether your child has mastered, is demonstrating, or has not yet mastered that particular standard.
Summer School Incentive Trip
We have a field trip scheduled to Flagstaff as an incentive to those students who attend summer school with three (3) or less absences. Absences will be counted immediately on Monday, June 6, so please ensure that your child attends the first day. The field trip is planned for the final week of summer school.
We hope your child can attend this very beneficial part of their educational process. Research has shown that an extended school year is a great help to student success!
